A 32 year old tries TikTok + Sit & Write #92... and beyond!

I'm happy to report that I'm healing quickly and comfortably post-surgery. Less happy to report that, in an effort to fill my downtime, I downloaded TikTok this week. Thus, my few remaining brain cells have melted and fused into something vaguely the shape of a DIY nightstand made from spray painted, stacked, and glued plastic bowls from the Dollar Tree. A few preliminary conclusions from my first week browsing TikTok:
TikTok is the new Tumblr (of ten years ago).
I use Amazon a lot less than most Americans, or at least most TikTok-using Americans.
I absolutely need to delete this app. I've lost hours upon hours without noticing. It's like endlessly scrolling through instagram, only way more potent. If you haven't tried it, don't. You've been warned.
Moving on. I've received a few messages about the future of Sit & Write and thought it would be a good time to offer an update. For the time being, Sit & Write will continue to meet weekly over Zoom. In a few months we can …
