After two years of short fiction rejections, a welcomed change of pace: 2 acceptances in the last month! One was conditional pending revisions, and the other had some optional edits for me, both of which I think will make the pieces stronger. I’ll wait until things are actually published before sharing any more details, but the preliminary acceptances alone are incredibly affirming. In related news, I applied to and was selected to participate in
’s #antiwrimo omnibus project. My team of 3 is working on a surreal “literary epic” novel (novella?) about birdsongs, greenwashing, and passion projects. When it’s finished, it’ll join two other manuscripts in what may very well be “the largest book in TW history.”As much as I look forward to showing you what I’ve been working on, I’m even more excited to hear what you’ve been up to!
