Chipping away at the mountain

A little pie update for you before I get into the literary stuff: I'm pleased to report that all the GF/Vegan pies have been pre-ordered. If you still want in on this fundraiser and don't mind a little gluten and dairy in your life, you can still order a standard pie here! Your contribution funds mutual aid work by The West Philly Bunnyhop, which provides fresh produce to West Philadelphians in need. I was talking to my mom last week about how easy it is to slip into despair about the state of the world right now. For me, doing something small and local is a way of staying hopeful, a way to feel like I'm putting a teeny little chip in the mountain of oppression looming over us. Every chip really does make a difference.
