Greetings, friends!

Well, I survived my journey to "Trump Country." I'm not just calling it that to be snide; we spent at least an hour driving through boroughs and townships that were absolutely slathered in signs, flags, banners, and t-shirt stands reminding us of the fact. Definitely gave me some election anxiety! Luckily the cabin was pretty isolated, about 10 miles outside of Dushore, PA, along a creek lined with other generously-spaced cabins. The first evening was spent getting acclimated, making dinner, and later, eating s'mores by the campfire and looking up at a sky full of stars. The creek was gorgeous, but it wasn't until the second day, when I woke up before everyone else and wandered down to sit by it and think, that I truly relaxed enough to appreciate it. Here are a few polaroids I took while we were there:
