It's international "Take your mother-in-law to the gay bar" day!

Zach's mom came to visit this weekend, which was so lovely. We mostly hung out at home and ate ourselves silly, but last night we went out to Tavern on Camac. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it: an old school piano bar in the gayborhood with strong cocktails and nightly entertainment by talented pianists. Go!
Apart from that, I managed to complete and submit my application for the emerging writer award I mentioned a few newsletters back. Cross your fingers for me! Lord knows I could use the prize money. The self-esteem boost couldn't hurt either.
Lastly, Therapy Quest 2020 continues. I interviewed a potential therapist over the phone last week and liked her a lot. Still deciding what I'll do, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Starting over with a new person sucks. Starting over with a new person 4 times sucks more. Let's hope this is the last one.
