Mascot love + Sit & Write #31

Greetings and welcome back, dear readers,

I had a lovely, much needed couple of weeks off, during which I went to Dallas, slept a lot, and did no writing of any kind. It was excellent. In Dallas, Zach, me, and our friend Victor ate our faces off but we also got to spend time with my favorite (and only) sister Laura. Victor fell in love with a convenience store mascot -- a beaver named Buc-ee -- and Zach became infatuated with Torchy, the little devil baby mascot from Torchy's Tacos.
