Greetings, friends!
Collective Lit’s recording session for WXPN was a great success. While attendance was modest, the audience was filled with enough supportive friends and family members to generate a healthy smattering of applause between sets. Alison, Amy Beth, Louise, Maya, and I read a mix of poetry and prose that, much to our surprise, shared the unplanned themes of familial bonds and/or queer sexuality. I had a fantastic time and I’m so grateful to the Kelly Writers House for having us. The radio broadcast date is still up in the air, but tentatively set for 11/9 at 10:00pm ET on WXPN. I’ll share a link when I have one!
