Greetings, friends!

The matchmaking continues after a couple weeks of work related distractions. I’m finding that some matches are blatantly obvious, and others… less so. I’ll sometimes see a pair of names and, off vibes alone, think “absolutely not.” But then, as I dig into the themes in their work and their specific priorities, a hazy “it could work!” emerges from the depths.

There are, of course, several people that I simply haven’t received a good match for. Most of you said you would rather wait for a good fit than get paired with someone who doesn’t make sense, so I’m taking that to heart and trying to stay thoughtful and intentional about these pairings. Some of you might even end up with multiple partners while others linger in uncertainty, waiting for the right fit. This is a lot like dating, ultimately — there is no rigid queue to wait in, at the front of which is an uncomplicated match that will certainly work when and how it’s supposed to.
