Sit & Write #6 + new work

Happy Thursday!

I'm writing to tell you about this weekend's writing session, and to share a little new work from the novel. It's slow going, but these Sit & Write meetups are making a big difference in my productivity. I'm actually churning out about half a chapter a week, which is a big improvement from 0 chapters... ever. I'll post the new work down at the bottom of this email. 

But before that, here's the details for Saturday's meet up. Please note that the time has shifted a little because I felt like it. But again, it's drop-in style, so just arrive/leave whenever you choose.

Saturday, June 8, 10:30am-1:30pm, Green Line Cafe (45th and Locust). Don't be discouraged if you don't see me right away, I am often a few minutes behind schedule. Fear not, I am fully committed to being there!

As for the rest of the week to come, there's a lot going on because it's Pride Month! Don't get me wrong, I am proud to be who I am. But I am also fully domesticated and very lazy. It's entirely plausibl…
