Sit & Write #8: The Return
Hi pals!
We are back in action this Saturday from 10:30-12:30pm at the usual location. My weekend off was really nice. On Saturday, I went to the local farmer's market for the first time and bought some gorgeous produce. Then it was off to a bbq at a friend's house for some low key social time. Sunday was spent cooking and taking it easy. All in all, an ideal weekend for my tired brain.
As for the rest of the week, here's what's going on in the local lit/arts world:
Tonight, 6/26, 6:00-7:30pm: You Can't Kill a Poet: Pride Month Reading at the Free Library (Free to attend)
Friday, 6/28, 7:00-9:00pm: 2019 Ghost City Summer Micro-Chap Series Launch Party & Reading at A Novel Idea on Passyunk (Cost unknown, but probably free)
Saturday, 6/29, 12:00-4:00pm: Lovers in the Parking Lot - Pottery Sale and Plant swap (Not literary, but Zach will be slinging some gorgeous pottery-- check it out, after Sit & Write of course)
That's all for now!
Warmly,
Julian Shendelman
