Hi friends,

Unsurprisingly, the Kelly Writers House has decided to close up shop until this whole coronavirus thing blows over. So, after weighing out a few options, I think the best choice for now is to take Sit & Write online in the form of a video chat.

This has a few advantages:

1) No human contact = no germs
2) No risk of things being closed. I thought about relocating to a library or coffee shop, but things are changing really quickly and there's no guarantee that a location I pick today will be open on Saturday at this point.
3) We still get to be accountable to each other.
4) Writers from any city can join in from the comfort of their own homes. 

Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I've never hosted a webinar so I have basically no idea what I'm doing. But it looks like you can host a Skype meeting for free and without creating an account.
