Midnight deadline, tonight! The Starfruit Project's "winter holigay special" has an open call for Black LGBTQ writers to read at the 12/22 Queer Cheer reading. Sign up to read here.
Tuesday, 12/1, 6:30pm ET: Kelly Writers House Salon. $20 suggested donation (tax-deductible). The virtual salon includes readings by current Penn students and faculty and supports KWH recruitment efforts. Readers are: Sophia Durose, Jamie-Lee Josselyn, Carmen Maria Machado, and Rowana Miller. This event will be fully captioned.
Wednesday, 12/2, 4:00pm ET: Blue Stoop's Wednesday on the Stoop with Penguin Random House. Free. Publishing professionals from Penguin will discuss a new Philly-specific mentorship program. Register here.
