My holiday break nears, and with it, plans to paint our bedroom, living room, and the half-bathroom, which is currently a shade of teal more appropriate to... nothing. I also plan to do a little writing on Saturday at Green Line Cafe on Locust for the last Sit & Write of 2019 -- you're welcome to join me! It should be considerably less crowded since finals are over.
But to briefly reflect on 2019, this was the year I found/made my own literary community in Philly. In February I facilitated a series of 4 generative writing workshops at the Arthur Ross Gallery, and met many of you reading this. In March, I started this newsletter -- initially a way to stay in touch with the Arthur Ross Gallery crowd, but now a weekly promo for local events and calls for submissions, and a great place for me to publicly vent without engaging with facebook to an unhealthy degree.
