Greetings!

I'm feeling a little under the weather so I'll keep this brief. 

The next Sit and Write session is this Saturday, 6/1, from 11am-2pm at Green Line at 45th and Locust. This is the last of the scheduled ones so far. The experiment was largely a success! I did learn a few lessons:

  1. Meeting up on weeknights after work sucks. I don't know about y'all, but come 5:00pm, I'm tired and I want to go home! It seems like others may have felt similarly, based on attendance. Mid-day on weekends seems to work well for me and others, so I think I'll stick to that going forward.
     

  2. It's hard to find free spaces to meet! Unfortunately, meeting at the library is not as fun as it sounds. Apart from a severe lack of snacks/coffee, libraries are often crowded and shockingly noisy. Or distractingly silent, depending on the library. I'm very pro-coffee shop, which has a nice steady cacophony of mild noise to keep me on task.
